How would one go about increasing the HD capacity in a DIGITALVISION DVR180 RECORDER. Would this entail just removing and installing a larger HD.
Would appreciate any feedback.

Would be very interested in a disc upgrade kit for the topfield TF 5800. Have the original 160gb version, which is still working well, but some extra disc space would be welcome.

We've ensured the printed instructions supplied are very clear and there are plenty of photos of the procedure.

Please let us know if there are other models you would like us to support. We're listening...

Also interested in a Humax 9200T upgrade to 500 Gb. I upgraded the previous model to 160 Gb with no problems, so this should be easy too, but the issue is picking a low noise drive and if there are any cable issues once the box is opened (I've just read elsewhere on the net that the box is quite 'busy')...

Thanks Hugh.

The PVR 9200T is a receiver we are currently doing some research into the possibility of putting together an upgrade kit for. Keep an eye on the website in the coming month or two.

The most common request (via email) seems to be the Sky HD receiver. We are currently testing a 500GB upgrade kit for the Sky receiver.

Hmm..... haven't seen these explicitly yet.... However, there are a range of low priced hard disk recorders coming into the likes of Comet, with prominent Freeview logos on the box (obviously)....

I just bought the Technosonic PVR101 and have been quite impressed so far....
