DigiEye Remote Control Extender - Compatible with Sky+ and Pace cable receivers (NTL/Telewest/Virgin Media) Imagine controlling your Sky+ receiver from the comfort of your bedroom! You can use these clever little devices to transmit infra red remote control signals between rooms by wireless radio. Even better it supports IrDA remote control signals, so it works with more audio video equipment than any other remote control extender on the market. You get two DigiEye infra red remote control relays - one you place in the room with the equipment and the other you put in the remote room. The infra red remote control signal is forwarded by wireless between the DigiEye relays. The DigiEye does not transmit video or audio - you will need to run coax cable or use a video sender to send the audio and video signal. - Quick and easy to setup.
- Compatible with RC5 and IRDA remote control signals (includes Pace NTL/Telewest cable receivers).
- Works with Sky, Sky+, cable receivers, DVD players, PVRs, hifi equipment and many more.
- Select from 16 digital channels - so no interference with neighbours.
- Works through walls and ceilings.
- Approx 20m indoor range.
Please note: The latest NTL/Telewest Samsung cable receivers have been reported not to be compatible with the DigiEye remote control extender. Certain Bose and Bang & Olufsen equipment uses ultra high frequency infra red that is not compatible with any remote control extenders. As with all wireless devices the range and quality of the signal is dependant on many factors including distance between remote control extender relays, thickness of walls, materials used to construct walls (metal in the wall is particularly bad), movement of people, etc.
