FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Uprated Replacement Power Supply - for FVRT100, FVRT145, FVRT150 & FVRT200 PVRs

Is your DigiFusion PVR stuck with a hold message on the front panel? Are you upgrading the hard disk drive on your DigiFusion PVR?

Upgrade the standard DigiFusion power supply from 2A to 4.17A (50 Watts) with this high output replacement. If you are upgrading the hard disk in your DigiFusion FVRT100, FVRT145, FVRT150 or FVRT200 we strongly recommended that you upgrade the standard power supply to provide enough power for the larger capacity hard disk.

In our experience the standard PSU is barely able to cope with the standard hard disk. Many owners have reported that their original power supply has stopped working, even with the original hard disk installed.

  • Easy replacement - just unplug your old power supply and replace it with the new upgrade power supply.
  • Fitted with the correct DC connector for the DigiFusion PVR.
  • High output 4.17 amp (50 watt) power supply - more than able to power a larger capacity hard disk drive.
  • Supplied with mains lead and UK plug.

Common Questions

How can I tell if my DigiFusion PVR power supply is dead?

The most common symptom is that the PVR powers up and the front LCD displays "hold", but does not progress any further. If your DigiFusion PVR is stuck with a hold message then it is very likely that the standard power supply is no longer able to provide enough power to spin up the hard disk drive.

Can the standard DigiFusion power supply cope with a larger hard disk?

The standard DigiFusion power supply is barely able to cope with the load of the original hard disk and many owners have reported power supply failures without upgrading the hard disk. We recommend anyone upgrading the hard disk in a DigiFusion PVR also upgrade the power supply at the same time.
