High Quality AV Sender - Send video & audio to another room without wires Imagine watching Sky TV or DVDs from the comfort of your bedroom, with no messy wiring between rooms! You can use these units to wirelessly relay signals from any two audio/video sources, such as a Freeview box and a DVD player, to televisions in other rooms.
Each DigiSender X2 videosender system comprises of a simple transmitter module that can connect with upto two SCART outputs on AV equipment in your main room and a receiver module that connects to the SCART AV socket of your receiving TV. Extra receivers are available so you can view in as many rooms as you like.
These units can be used to transmit the audio/video signals from a Sky receiver (including Sky+), a Freeview box, Digital Video Recorder, DVD player or even a games console to another television in your home. In fact pretty much anything with a SCART output can be wirelessly transmitted to a remote location.
A built in dual magic eye remote control relay sends the infra red remote control signals wirelessly back to the audio/video sources in the main room allowing you to control the equipment as though you are in the same room.
You can expand the system by adding Digisender X2 Additional Receivers for extra TVs in your home.
Now you can easily watch your VCR, DVD or satellite TV in a bedroom, study or on a children’s TV with no wiring.

Important Notes
Infra Red Compatibility
To work correctly with Pace NTL/Telewest/Virgin Media cable boxes a DigiEye Remote Control Extender should also be purchased. This is because these receivers use the higher frequency IRDA infra red standard, rather than the more common RC5 standard supported by the DigiSender X2.
Some Bose and Bang & Olufsen stereo systems use a higher frequency of IR that is not compatible with this system - if in doubt please ask Distance between transmitter and receiver Distance between transmitter & receiver As with all video senders the range and quality of the signal is dependant on many factors including distance between video senders, thickness of walls, materials used to construct walls (metal reinforced floors are particularly bad), movement of people, etc.
