Returns & Refunds ProcedureHow To Make A Return - Step by Step- Check that your return meets the conditions in our Returns Policy - see below.
- Submit a ticket via the XtendedPlay Support & Helpdesk Website to notify us that you would like to return an item. In your support ticket please let us know if you would like to return the item for a replacement or for a refund. You will receive a ticket ID that will be your RMA returns number.
- Wait for a confirmation email from us giving instructions on how to return the item and where to post it - we will normally be touch within 48 hours (during the week).
- Package the item well (place hard drives in anti-static bags) and mark the parcel with your RMA number (the ticket ID you received when you submitted a ticket on our support site).
- Post the item back to us via Royal Mail. XtendedPlay does not accept liability for goods damaged in transit while being returned, so please return using an insured delivery service (Royal Mail First Class is insured upto a maximum of £34).
Once we receive the returned item(s) we will notify you and either send a replacement (subject to availability) or issue a refund to the credit/debit card you made the order with. Returns Policy (14 Day Money Back Guarantee)a) The goods must be returned to us undamaged and in original condition within 14 daysIn addition to standard warranties and your statutory rights, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee on all products purchased on xtendedplay.co.uk. If you wish to return a product, you must notify us that you wish to cancel your order within 7 days and the item must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt of goods. You must notify us within 7 days from the date of receipt of the goods that you wish to cancel the order by giving notice in a letter, fax or email. The refund will only be issued for the amount of the purchased goods and will not include shipping costs. Any and all products returned to us after the 14 day return/exchange period has expired cannot be accepted by XtendedPlay under any circumstances and will be returned to the customer (at the customer's expense!) without a refund. b) Products MUST be in "as-new" conditionIn other words, please send products back EXACTLY as you received them. The goods must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging (which shall not be defaced or damaged) complete with accessories, manuals, documentation, plastic bags, warranty cards, tie wraps, and any other little bits or pieces that originally came with the product. Except in the case of faulty goods, returned items not complying with these requirements will be rejected. No refund will be made unless the goods are returned physically undamaged, unmarked and in original undamaged packaging. If an item is returned within the 14 day return period, but NOT "as-new" condition, we WILL charge you an absolute minimum 15% restocking fee plus any labor and materials required to return the product to "as-new" condition. Until your return arrives back our our office you are responsible for the safety of the goods, so please use an insured delivery service. Royal Mail First Class is insured upto a maximum of £34. Products that have been damaged by the customer which require more cost to repair than the wholesale value of the product will be returned to the customer without a refund at their expense, regardless of when it was returned.
