The original Sky+ remote control.

The Sky+ remote control is similar to a standard Sky Digital remote, but provides controls for the extra features provided by Sky+, such as rewind, record, play, pause, fast forward and stop playback of the programme.

This latest revision, original, Sky remotes feature a Speaker symbol on the 0 key. This symbol is only shown on Revision 6 and above remotes. Remotes without this symbol are either not real, or are not latest revision.

The Sky+ remote uses different codes to standard Sky Digital and newer SkyHD remote controls and so is, by default, incompatible with them. In it's default configuration this means a Sky+ remote control can be used in the same room as a standard Sky Digital or SkyHD remote.

• Can also be programmed to operate a TV as well as the Sky+ box.

Typical Applications

Can be used as a spare remote control to replace a lost or broken handset, or can be used as part of a multiroom Sky setup with a tvLINK Magic Eye Remote Control Extender or a Digisender Video Sender.

Important Note: This remote control cannot be used to operate standard Sky Digital or newer SkyHD receivers.
